Welcome to the UMDNJ Libraries Remote Access Login

You have requested a resource that is restricted to use by qualified patrons of the UMDNJ University Libraries. Qualified patrons include UMDNJ students, faculty, and staff, and other UMDNJ affiliated individuals.

For authentication please use ONE of the following methods:

 

CORE/My.UMDNJ username:

CORE accounts and Central Authentication Service accounts (My.UMDNJ Portal) that have been synchronized with CORE are valid. CORE accounts are used to log in to machines located in the IST computer labs and the University wireless network. These accounts are in accordance with HIPAA security requirements.

You can verify your access by going to https://accessumd.umdnj.edu/ for CORE or My.UMDNJ for Central Authentication Service. When you change your password in My.UMDNJ, your CORE account is synchronized to it, and the same username/password is then used for both.

If you have more questions about your accounts please call the IST Help Desk at (732) 743-3200 or 3-3200 if you are calling from within a UMDNJ building (from E&R Building 1-3200).

This method is based on your UMDNJ Libraries Registration: Enter your last name and the last 4 digits of your:

  • UMDNJ ID# (A#) -- most students have been automatically registered with the Libraries using this ID#.
  • Social Security # OR Bar Code # if you registered with the Libraries without a UMDNJ ID#.

Last Name tips:
Replace a hyphen with a space. Smith-Jones becomes smith jones.
Drop the apostrophe and leave no space. O'Rourke becomes orourke.
